“Bye, mum! See you after school!” I parted with my mum while feeling lost.
“Come back home immediately after school ends!” mum instructed.
She left, leaving me alone. I walked through the school gate. The school is indeed relatively small and old compared to my previous school. There were only 3 blocks and the paint of some parts of the school had already eroded off. Of course it had to be like that cause it was a neighbourhood school, I thought.
“Ring!!” the school bell rang. Everyone started to run.
Immediately I knew I was going to be late and I ran at lightning speed to my classroom (I guess). Upon reaching the classroom, I found that everyone in class had already settled and the teacher was already there.
GOSH! I am late on my first day of school! It will be so embarrassing, I thought.
But I had to face the “nice” music. I knocked softly on the classroom door.
“So you must be the new student from Singapore, come on in!” the female teacher welcomed me in.
I walked slowly and unsteadily, with my eyes focused on the floor. My face turned tomato red as all eyes were glued to me and everyone was discussing about me.
“She is a Singaporean! Why is she here in Korea?” one of them spoke in Korean to another, thinking that I did not understand them.
I felt a little unwelcomed but the teacher cleared up the tensed situation.
“Why don’t you introduce yourself to your classmates?” she asked politely.
“Hello! I am Trisha from Singapore! I am here because my dad was transferred here. I love the outdoors and I hope everyone can help me in one way or the other! Thank you!” I spoke with confidence, trying to show them that I can speak fluent Korean!
Everyone cheered and applauded as they were surprised that I can speak Korean so well. Well almost everyone. That guy at the furthest end looked forlorn and he did not cheer for me. He was very tall( could be seen from the fact that he is the furthest), about 1.8m, with short hair and relatively big eyes.
Why didn’t he cheer for me? I thought. His reactions just made me want to know more about him.
“Where did you want to sit, Trisha?” she asked in concern.
Immediately, I suggested to the teacher that I would like to sit with him at the furthest end.
“Oh, you want to sit with Ji Hoon? Sure!” she replied.
So his name is Ji Hoon, what a common name! There must be at least 10 Ji hoons in school. Why didn’t he choose a more unique name? I was more curious about him by the minute.
But everyone gasped in surprise upon my decision to sit with Ji Hoon.
“Why does Trisha want to sit with Ji Hoon? Such a waste! She should sit with me!” one of the “handsome” guys commented.
Why does everyone in class dislike Ji Hoon? He seemed perfectly alright to me, no missing limbs. Then why does everyone dislike him? I knew curiousity killed the cat but I was more curious about this person named Ji Hoon.
I took my seat and lessons started.

from the fucking hot fans at baidu, leaving msgs at joyplace pisses me off!!!! they were like saying that rain cannot make official colour for his light stick lol cause white is their colour! first place, rain is not even using white he is using silver and hot fans say that it is white!! diao!! and they are making a damm big fuss at baidu and joyplace expecting them to change colour in the middle of production! who the fuck they think they are??? GOD??? all the ppl i know only know who is rain and boa others they dun noe! they think hot very popular meh? in china onli lol! usually the first few ppl you know in korean singers are:
1)boa( but everyone treat her as japanese singer)
1) rain(actor-singer)
i dun noe how hot rank lol!!!!
but nvm, i still will wear white for rain's concert and i will buy the light stick!!!!
